WOOL BALLCAP HONORING THE 1931 COMUNICACIONES BALLCLUB

History: A few years ago while researching Mexican baseball history, we found a trove of vintage photos depicting a forgotten era of Mexican baseball — when teams from civic organizations, government, the military, and early professional leagues flourished around Mexico City. Now, we’re bringing that history back with our Mystery Caps of Mexico collection: rare designs never before available through Ebbets or anywhere else.

The Comunicaciones joined the Mexican League in 1931 and finished second with a 15–6 record. Despite their strong showing, the club left the league the following year.

Made from genuine wool broadcloth with our signature green satin underbrim, this hat is inspired by the on-field ballcap worn by the 1931 Communicaciones ballclub.
